Our Experience

Our experience and knowledge gives us unique tools and expertise to solve your road vehicle ride  and handling issues; And incidentally, we have a lot of road vehicle experience. Shockworks  consults to vehicle and shock absorber manufacturers, tuning their chassis for both  high  performance driving and passenger vehicles, including small volume concept  vehicles. 
Shockworks has just finished the development of the chassis tuning of the Premcar Holy Grail in which we were asked to give the Ford FG Falcon, a complete re-tune on Michelin Cup 2 tyres.  The result was a chassis that is now 10 seconds a lap quicker than the original OE suspension, at Winton Raceway. 
 

Prior to starting Shockworks Pty Ltd, Brett O’Brien, our Technical Director,  has spent 20 years in  the OEM automotive  industry. He was a damper tuning specialist at Delphi Automotive  Systems, and global driver trainer for chassis engineering staff. Also consulting to Prodrive  Automotive Technologies Asia  Pacific for various chassis related projects.

Now Brett runs Shockworks with his two sons, Chris and Tim. Together they form an unbeatable team with nearly fifty years of automotive experience between them.
