# Shockworks

> Custom coilovers and suspension, designed and tuned in Australia. Bespoke dampers specced and valved per car, rebuildable for life, and shipped worldwide.

Shockworks is Chris O'Brien and Brett O'Brien's coilover and suspension engineering workshop based in Monbulk, in Victoria's Dandenong Ranges (est. 2011). Chassis developers, not box-shifters: every damper is specced and custom-valved for the individual car, chassis, and intended driving use. The damper is manufactured with Korean partner Neotech since 2011 and assembled with matched springs from Eibach and other suppliers as the build calls for. Valving development, dyno testing, quality assurance, and assembly are completed by hand in Monbulk. Kits are 100% rebuildable for life.

Buying is consultation-first. Online ordering opens late 2026; until then a kit starts with an enquiry, a phone call or the spec sheet on the kit page, and the build consultation with Chris O'Brien settles valving and spring rates before assembly. Kits are hand-checked in Monbulk and shipped worldwide. Fitting at the Monbulk workshop is a service priced on top of the kit.
